For weddings, people typically use names and a date. You may want your dog’s name engraved here. Whatever you want, we will engrave on the heart piece. Typically it’s in two lines of text. We suggest using the least amount of text possible, so we can engrave the letters as large as possible. If there is a lot of text, it will have to be made small and more difficult to read. We always align the text in the center and make the date smaller than the names (if that is what is to be engraved). Choose any breed from the drop-down list. If you don’t see your breed listed, select “Other” and write in the “Other breed” text area the breed you’d like, and we will custom-make this for you at no additional charge. It may take an extra week to complete your puzzle if your breed is not listed in the drop-down. Border: The border adds a great look to the puzzles. They are also cut from quarter-inch maple ply and coated with a dark brown finish to match the heart within the puzzle. The border, or frame, keeps the pieces securely in place. It also has padded hangers attached on the back, 16″ on center, allowing the completed puzzle easily to be hung on the wall. If you decide to hang it on the wall, you’ll need to secure the pieces in place so they don’t fall out. This can be done in a number of ways; we suggest glue dots or double-sided tape, or for a permanent bond, super glue or wood glue.
