Foreword to the great spot the difference book of a city from Germany We are very pleased that you are interested in our riddle book and would like to take this opportunity to tell you how this book came into being. We, Milana and Stefan, started this spot the difference book together as a private project. The idea came up when we gave away a similar riddle book for Milana's grandma Renate. Especially during the cold season and the global challenges in 2020, it was difficult for older people to find meaningful and entertaining activities. The first spot-difference book was followed by a second, the second even by a third and soon by the fourth. But the selection of such books, especially for adults and senior citizens, is not particularly large. At this point, we thought: "We could also create a personal riddle book for grandma". By the way, here on the left in the picture, Grandma Renate. The idea of the find differences book is to deal with an explicit topic, and we chose the city of Hildesheim in Germany for it. As people from Hildesheim, we appreciate the advantages here. In addition to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a historic old town worth seeing, the second largest city in Lower Saxony offers many beautiful places. But only pictures of the city itself are not enough. We thought about which public institutions, churches, businesses and associations would fit into the book. Finally, about 30 (!) deep-rooted Hildesheimers took part in this kind of picture quiz. Grandma: All people who enjoy puzzles or riddles. And of course, those that are looking for a nice change from everyday life. I think it's also a wonderful gift for birthdays or holidays. I got my book for Chris as! What do you like most about the riddles? Grandma: I don't have to solve all the hidden pictures right away. I look here and there in the book and as the pictures are always different, I solve up to 3 or 4 puzzles at the same time. But don't get me wrong: the pictures are not easy to solve! And that's what I like about it, you can't just solve the book within a brief moment, it takes time. And where do you solve the riddles? Grandma: Actually, I can take the book with me everywhere.
