Aim Of The Game: To score points by successfully describing famous names to your team-mates, WITHOUT saying the actual names, before the sand timer runs out. Before You Start: Split into two teams. If the teams don't have equal numbers, then individuals in the team with fewer players will have extra turns at describing names. Each Who's Who? card is white on one side and green on the other.Decide which colour to play first. Put all the cards into a pot or bag so that they can't be seen. It may also be helpful to have a container handy for 'discarded' cards. Contents: Celebrity Who's Who? cards Sand timer Score Pad Rules Starting The Game: The team with the youngest player goes first (Team One). Team One nominates a team member to begin the game. This player picks a card form the pot, turns over the sand timer and begins describing the name listed on the card to their team. The objective is to successfully describe as many names as possible in the allotted time (one minute). Game Play: The rules are simple: no rhyming clues or saying the name on the card. If the rules are broken, the card must be discarded and a new one taken. When Team One correctly identifies a famous name, the card is kept and a new one selected. If the describing player doesn't recognise the name on the card or feels it is too difficult, they have the option to pass, discard that card and take another one. Each player is allowed a maximum of three passes per turn. Continued... Play continues until the timer runs out. At the end of the round, the pile of correctly guessed cards is counted, and Tam one scores one point for each correct answer. The total points are recorded on the score pad. Play then passes to Team Two and the game continues as above. Only when they are no more cards in the pot are the discarded cards added back into the game, and play begins using the other side of the cards. Winning The Game: The first team to reach 30 points wins. This total can be increased to reflect a larger group of players if necessary, but this must be agreed at the start. TIPS: Although the name of the person being described is not allowed to be used, the name can be split into smaller parts. For example, the name Fieldhouse can be split into 'field' and 'house', which are much easier to describe.
